Introducing Baby Wilson #2!

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." ~Psalm 139.13

Baby Wilson #2 is fully cooking in my belly, and at 10 weeks I am finally comfortable enough to talk about it with everyone! Though it is not facebook official yet {lol} it will be very soon, when I hear that sweet heart-beating away at my next appointment!
I cant begin to put into words the amount of heart bursting love I already have for this tiny little sweet pea growing inside me. With just one baby I always wondered how I would have enough love for another, would everything be as exciting the second go around, etc.... and I have to say, God is good, God is so so good. From the second I saw those pink lines my heart doubled in size and my world was forever changed, not only did I have one dear sweet miracle I get to kiss and hold everyday, I was being given another amazing creation. From that second on, doubts vanished, excitement grew, and we were now a family of four.
Luke went to the doctor with me at 8 weeks; everything looked great! We saw a tiny little heart flickering away, and that was it, the reassurance I needed. I found out at 3 1/2 weeks so it was a long wait to see that sweet sight!

"From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another." ~
John 1:16

I don't know how many children we will have, its not really up to me. I have always known I wanted Will to have at least one sibling.
I love my sister, we are very different indeed, but there is just something about having a sister, something very special. We share a lot of thoughts, and memories only we could ever explain, and there's just something special about that. Luke has three brothers all of which he is close to in all very different ways, but one similarity in these boys... They always, always have each others backs. There's something very special about family and sibling bonds, and the Wilson family has definitely shown me this.

"For this child I prayed, and the Lord answered my prayer"

Due on January 22, this pregnancy will be the polar opposite of Will's, and isn't that the truth! So far the first half of the first trimester I have been very sick, the doctor gave me a shot of B6 and it seemed to help a little. Now the second half the extreme fatigue has set in, I forgot about this, like a tidal wave over you. I talk to Grandma Ad often and thank her and God for this amazing gift I have been given, but ask that please, let me be feeling better in the next two weeks! My active little toddler and a tired momma is not a good combo!
Once the initial excitement and shock settled down, I did what I do best... started planning. I've researched double strollers, started my lists of names, and thought for hours on the pros and cons of finding out vs. not finding out the sex.With still no decisions on any, it always makes me feel better to research, plan, and talk things out. Some {my sister Crystal} have a gut feeling boy, while others {Luke's step sister} are already buying pink! Me... I really don't care, I thought I'd want my girl, I'm a girly girl and it would be great to have a little mini me, however there's just something about that sweet mommas boy who stole my heart, and I'd take another one in a heartbeat!

So welcome welcome with huge open arms my little sweet pea, we're so happy and excited to get to know you!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above...

So much to celebrate this Fathers Day!

 We had a great fathers day weekend! It was eventful, relaxing, tiring, filling, and amazing... God is so good, last year Will was just getting into his big boy carseat, and was using an exersauser. He's grown so much! And the year before that we were on our babymoon!

Friday I left work early and started on a project of some heavy duty cleaning to our floors. Our WHOLE first floor is hardwood and with a build up of cleaners from the years they have a film/haze on them I couldn't take anymore... It was a LONG project but I was excited to get started. Then I picked up Will after his nap and took him to a splash pad where he played for hours.
Saturday Luke was in a golf tournament all day, Will and I played and I finished the floors while Luke's step sister took him swimming (insert huge thank you!) Its just seriously amazing what one momma can get accomplished with both boys out of the house for a few hours!
these floors take a beating!

dada and will playing the golf tee game at cracker barrel on fathers day

I knew, I just knew, Luke would be draggin Sunday morning.... but Will was up at 7 like clockwork and I wanted to spend the morning just us three. We went to cracker barrel (one of Luke's favorites we never go to) had a great breakfast the three of us, then starbucks in hard off to the playground to burn off a little energy.  We went home and showered dada with gifts two personally made cards, a framed picture of will with a sweet poem, and a travel fishing pole, {looks kinda like a pen!} to use on his upcoming golf trip to Michigan. Then he was off for a massage while Will and I layed down. Sunday afternoon we met at Luke's brothers for a bbq with their family and Luke's dad.
The day would of been complete if we could of seen my dad, but you can only fit so much in one day, and my parents are all about us not driving all around town on days like this {thank god}

After a long day my sweet sleepy boy took a book to bed {for the first time}and slept a sweet slumber dreaming of a perfect day with his perfect daddy.... as I watched him in the monitor, and listened to Luke mow outside I thanked my lucky stars {grandma ad} and thanked God as I rubbed my belly and counted my blessings.... that's right, it was a very special Fathers day for us indeed, with our sweet William and our new lil sweetpea on the way!

Sweet Baby Wilson #2  due: Jan 22 2013

"Walk a little slower Daddy,"
said a child so small,
"I'm following in your footsteps
and I don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true,
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you."

Some catching up...

I feel like I need to do a quick catch up on everything we've had going on lately before the next events come and go! I'm absolutely LOVING our busy summer, and I really mean that! We've had a lot going on but still time to get somethings done at home, best of both worlds.
Last weekend was memorial day weekend, I threw my friend Michelle (and Wills old babysitter) a sprinkle for her new baby Tucker. It was a fun brunch with all of our friends and lots of "sprinkle" themed food, favors, and fun. Michelle got all the necessitates she was needed for her new baby boy, and is ready for his arrival...soon! With having her daughter Eliza and a new baby I was searching for some new "friends" for William, a daunting task for me to put it lightly. May 1st he started at a new home, Miss Nicole watches him and she is a sweetie. There he plays with her son with is the exact same age as Will, and four other girls varying in age from 2 1/2 - 12. He has definitely learned his new role as a ladies man.
Some of my best girlfriends and I, bloody mary bar, sprinkle favors, food, gifts and baby wishes

After the sprinkle we quickly cleaned up and packed up again, next we were off to Labadie (about 45 minutes from us) to a friends for a day of grilling, pool play, and fun! Will had so much fun on the big water slide, with the other kids and on the big slip and slide they set up. He wasn't quite big enough to get a good running start but he scooted down on his butt right along the other kids. Such a fun day.

Monday Luke's dad had us all over for a fish fry, it was great to catch up, and cousin Peyton brought another great handmedown for lucky Will, a new tricycle!

A short week and a huge haul to goodwill later I was off for girls weekend at tablerock lake, I had a blast catching up with the girls, getting sun on the boat, and shopping. Always a much needed trip!  And its always easier to leave when Will is with dada. Luke decided he would tackle the grocery shopping and do some updates to a bathroom for me, with Will. Having a very active and interested toddler boy this is a hard thing to do, poor dada did not know what he was in for.... But has much appreciation for this momma!
While we were gone Luke hung out with Laurens husband Brian and their kids.... ladies man at his finest.
