While searching for some recipes I stumbled upon TIME FOR DINNER and started looking into it. Basically they have set meals for each month so you pick 6,12, whatever, you like and sign up. It seemed like something fun to try and my friend Meghan is always up for cooking, making life easier, and fun new things. So Monday night we met there, had our "orders" placed and got to it!
We decided to split 12 meals, doing this we could make our own of some and split others, she picked some and so did I.
What we ended up with was:
2 Apple Butter BBQ Pork
1 Breakfast Burritos
1 Chicken Chardonnay
2 Garlic Cheddar Chicken Bites
2 Meatball Subs1.0 Party Pork Tenderloin
1 Pork Asado with Chimichurri Sauce
2 Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
All the ingredients and instructions are ready for you and pre measured out etc... They provide the disposable dishes (so no dishes at home the night you make it), clean up (they said we would get in trouble if we tried to clean up!), and labels with ALL the info you could need! Meghan and I had a really good time doing it and ended up with lots of easy snacks, lunches, and dinners for our families, everything is also pretty nutritious and comes with a nutrition label you put on your dish as well as cooking instructions, and side/pairing suggestions.
They also have a special baby promotion, 3 times after the birth of your baby you can buy meals and they will prepare them all for you at no charge (there is usually an extra cost for this) so all you have to do is have a friend pick them up and you have your meals all ready! The October Menu looks really yummy so we might have to do this!
So far Meghan has tried the Party Pork Tenderloin, she actually took it to her mother in laws for dinner and it turned out great! Luke has tried the breakfast burritos and he loves them, so easy for him to pop one out of the freezer and into the microwave before he leaves for work.
