33 weeks and last 2 weeker

33 weeks pregnant: This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

You need more oxygen as your baby grows, but that growing baby is also compressing your lungs and making it more difficult for you to take deep breaths, explains Dr. Pfeifer, an obstetrician at the Mayo Clinic. Occasional or mild shortness of breath is a normal pregnancy symptom, but if you're getting severely winded doing daily tasks or breathing is painful, get help right away.

I had a doctor appointment Wednesday, Gained a pound in the past two weeks which brings me to 21 pounds, also I am at 32.5 cm this is great since last appt (at 31 weeks) I was only at 29, we were hoping he would catch up and he did. My doctor said she wouldn't be surprised if he was a small or average baby, I of course asked what this meant and she said she suspected 7- 7.5 pounds. But when all is said and done you never really can tell and there is a lot that can happen and change in those last few weeks. I go back in a week and a half and that starts my weekly visits and vaginal checks. I cant believe we are to this point already! William seems to be doing good in there and doc loves us because we are such easy patients, I have had a fairly uneventful and easy pregnancy.

I need to watch the pain in my wrists because depending on how persistent it is it could lead to permanent nerve damage. And she just couldn't get over the size of my feet/ankles, I guess I have grown used to them. She gave me some remedies for them, support hoes, go swimming more, feet rubs, limit sodium more. I can try some but I really don't care, they are ugly and limit my shoe options, but ohh well...
